So I'm finally doing it, starting my very own food blog. I know I know... it's not exactly a novel idea :) Well the reason I'm doing it is to share what I have learned, and am learning about cooking and baking. I am relatively new to the whole cooking/baking thing, but I do know that I have absolutely fallen in love with everything about it and constantly wanting to learn more, a true Foodie to the core.
I am Mexican, so staying close to my "spicy" heritage I love spicy flavorful food. I cook many types and styles of food from the countries I have seen or lived in, but also the cuisine of the ones I have yet to see. I live in Europe and currently living in a place where the more exotic products aren't always available, so I have had to learn to work with what I have and in the process have learned to make many things from scratch. I will share both my traditional recipes and the one's using substitute local ingredients.
I am self taught and I think, no I know from experience that cooking is fun and everyone can learn to make mouth watering dishes. You don't need to be a food snob nor a master chef. These recipes are true and tried with a down to earth approach for anyone to learn. All you need is an open mind, a little curiosity,and an appetite - which of course is why you are here:) !!!
